Welcome to my page, I am so glad you are here. It can be helpful to know something about the person whose words you take in. So here goes!

I am an earthling. My pronouns are she/her/hers. (what’s this?)

I positively delight in grandkids, writing, and blue skies. My pet peeves are someone being unkind, and assumptions (not that I don’t make my own sometimes!). I am a social worker by trade and I first knew this was the field for me when I connected the career tests we took in 7th grade with what I was actually doing in the world one day at the District 9 office. Thank you, 7th grade teachers—-I see you now!

One day, all things come to an end. Before my time is up, I hope to see the Grand Canyon, and win the noble prize for literature. And before you leave this site, here are my hopes for you:

  • Grow your appreciation for how beautiful nature is and why we must protect it; 
  • Encounter how precious ALL children are and understand why we must make the world a safe and nurturing place for them; 
  • Remember how important relationships are and why we must maintain or mend those without dropping bombs or harming or shooting anyone, ever.

My ideas aside, I truly hope you find what you most need. As you journey through my Forest Findings, what will you find?
